Randy started as the assistant technical director, and quickly moved into the Technical Director position. He worked in that position for 5 years and then went on to open a scenery shop (MultiFab Inc.), building sets for Broadway, Off Broadway and Regional theatre companies. After several years of running MultiFab, Randy became Technical Director of the Production and Facilities of The Palace Theatre in Stamford CT where he has worked since 1991. Randy has served as the Business Representative for IATSE Local 133. In 1999, Randy Thomas Event Management Inc. was formed. As owner of RTEM Randy organizes and facilitates production for the Alive @ 5 Concert Series, Wednesday Night Live and The Levitt Pavilion in Westport CT, as well as, many other private and public events.
